SHADOW DANCE is an image to work with in shadow work, journaling, or simply for decór, from a paper cut by Andrew Benincasa inspired by the song “Shadow Dance” from Kela Parker’s album ‘The Dreamer and the Dream.’

The Shadow part of the image holds the hand of the Light side of the personality, depicting how we have to honor the dark and integrate it if we want to enjoy the fruits of creativity, connection, and meaning (depicted as the cells of life in each of the three discs).

Check out the Altar Card version if you would like to use this image similar to how you would work with a tarot card on your altar: it can be placed right-side up for the “conscious” mind, and upside down for the “unconscious” mind. See our Your Other Half mini-course for more ideas on how to work with your Shadow.
